One of our manufacturing clients had suffered a fire pursuant to welding works conducted on the premises. Sparks flew and landed onto the client’s stocks which then caught fire. The fire expanded rapidly and Bomba was called in. The premises were damaged severely by the fire and water (from Bomba), affecting several machineries and much of the stock. We assisted the client in regard to the claim pursuant to the loss of stock and damage to the machines. The client had the privilege of replacing the machineries with brand new units from overseas and the claim was paid in full for about RM1M.
